After a career in front line management in the retail sector, Adrienne identified that her passion and innate talent lay with working with people. Initially pursuing a training career, this soon led to a broader interest in the learning and development and coaching arenas.
Adrienne has extensive experience of corporate environments within the financial services and healthcare sectors working both in operational business areas as well as in the HR and L&D functions. Her work included performance management of staff across the UK, and project managing a Europe wide graduate recruitment programme. Her expertise centres around learning and development interventions such as leadership development, programme design and delivery and design and implementation of performance management processes.
Having run her own coaching and consultancy practice since 2004, Adrienne has gained extensive experience across a broad range of organisations. She has specialised in the design and delivery of corporate training programmes and coaches senior managers through their development challenges. Adrienne also leads personal development workshops in the UK and has a passion for helping people achieve their potential and realise their purpose.
Adrienne is a qualified CIPD trainer and gained her Coaching Diploma at the Oxford School of Coaching and Mentoring (OSCM) studying under Eric Parsloe. As evidence of her own continuous professional development, Adrienne has completed a Masters in Coaching and Mentoring at the highly regarded OxfordBrookesUniversity.
More recently, Adrienne has supported a number of local authorities in achieving their Equality and Diversity agendas. Whilst doing this, Adrienne was tasked with researching the government’s Big Society agenda and how that translated to the delivery of local services. Combining this experience with her many years in the corporate arena, Adrienne saw an opportunity to engage the private sector with this agenda. Adrienne’s consultancy service has now extended to helping organisations across the sectors to assess their practices and seek ways of operating in a more ethical and socially responsible way that has the potential of creating greater wealth and prosperity for them as well as all its stakeholders.
“I have known Adrienne since she asked me to be a speaker at a conference she hosted in 2011 called Business and The Big Society. Since then we have forged a strong professional relationship based on our mutual desire to engage the private sector in responsible business practices.
I have been impressed by her determination and commitment to carve out a new venture that seeks to connect and build relationships across the private and third sectors and this has been achieved in a very short space of time. She recognises the need to build a business that is both commercially sustainable and socially responsible and I think she will go a long way with this.
one thing that strikes me about Adrienne is her ability to build relationships with a large array of people and substantially influence them with her compelling vision.”
